Peppy Wallet

Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-31 · Effective 31 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Ashcrest Technologies, a company in Nigeria that owns and operates Peppy Wallet ("Peppy", "we", "us"). They apply when you create an account or use Peppy Wallet on the web or in the Peppy app. By creating an account you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Peppy Wallet.

1. What Peppy Wallet is

Peppy Wallet is a custodial wallet. We hold balances for you and keep the keys that control your crypto addresses. You can hold naira, USDT on Tron (TRC-20), USDT on Ethereum (ERC-20), ETH and TRX. Each asset and network has its own balance and receiving details. Peppy is not a bank, and balances held with Peppy are not bank deposits and are not covered by any deposit insurance scheme. We do not claim any licence or regulatory approval that we have not been granted.

2. Eligibility and your account

3. Keeping your account secure

4. Receiving and sending crypto

5. Fees

We may change fees. We will show any new fee before you approve a transaction it applies to.

6. Converting between crypto and naira

7. Save & lock

Save & lock lets you set aside part of an eligible balance for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. The coins stay at your address and do not earn interest or any other return. Locked amounts cannot be sent or converted until the lock ends on its date. You can end a lock early with your PIN and authenticator, which costs 2% of the locked amount.

8. No interest or investment advice

Peppy does not pay interest on any balance and does not give investment, tax or legal advice. Crypto prices can change sharply. Any USD total shown in the app is an estimate, not a quote or a guaranteed value.

9. Limits, holds and freezes

10. Prohibited use

You must not use Peppy Wallet for anything illegal or for:

We may close or restrict an account that breaks these rules and report activity to the authorities where required.

11. Payment requests

You can create one-time naira payment requests. You are responsible for what you ask for and who you share a link with. A payment is credited only after our payment partners confirm it.

12. Service availability

Peppy Wallet depends on the internet, blockchains, our banking and payment partners and other third parties. We work to keep it running but do not promise it will always be available or error free. A network or partner outage may delay a transfer. Uncertain transfers stay reserved until we reconcile them; we do not credit or debit twice.

13. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses caused by your failure to keep your credentials safe, by sending to a wrong address or network, by blockchain or third-party failures outside our reasonable control, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount of the transaction that gave rise to the claim.

14. Closing your account

You can ask us to close your account through Help & support. Move or convert your balances first; network and Peppy fees apply. We may close your account with notice, or without notice where the law or a serious breach of these terms requires it. We keep records after closure as described in our Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version and date at the top will change, and for material changes we will tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Peppy Wallet after that, the new terms apply.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Contact us first through Help & support so we can try to resolve a complaint. Disputes that we cannot resolve go to the courts of Nigeria.
